About the project
For UI Basics course and Interface Design course of the UI Design Certification at Universidad Creativa, I redesigned an app of daily use, in this case I chose the Period Tracker app.
The problem
Although the app has good usability, it has a problem of design iconsistency across its screens. The project objective was to develop a cleaner design with visual consistency.
User personas
The target user are women of reproductive age who seek to control their cycle or their pregnancy. As secondary users, men who wanted to keep track of their partner’s symptoms.
Benchmarking
Three apps were chosen and a benchmarking was carried out, in wich their similarities and differences were compared in terms of typography, color pallet, among others.
Moodboard
Se realizaron tres moodboards con referencias visuales, paletas, tipografías e imágenes, sin embargo, al ya trabajar los estilos visuales, la paleta de colores no encajaba bien, por lo que se procedió a realizar una cuarta opción.
